My best friend came for a visit from Maryland a couple of weeks ago and we started on a project. That was not the intention of her visit, nor did we expect it to take up so much of her trip, but what is done is done. I purchased this chair:
I saw potential, but didn't have the guts to take on a reupholstering project just yet. Well, with my best friends help we took the project to completion in just 2 days! (I expect applause there.)
Here are some "in process" pictures for your enjoyment:
So, remember what the chair looked like?
And now it looks like this!
I just love it! I hated the wicker stuff on the side, but now I don't mind it so much. I am in LOVE with this chair. It feels to pretty to be in my house and I am too afraid I am going to ruin it, so I avoid sitting on it. (Weird, I know!)
So, thank you, thank you, thank you Karen! You are amazing!
Have you taken on any home improvement projects lately?
Tell me about it!

What an amazing transformation - the chair is gorgeous now - love that fabric!
No new projects for me - besides waiting to move and finish packing up our house, then I can really dig into them.
