It is officially summer here in the sunny state of Florida.
You wonder how I know that? This is why:
1. I sweat when I blowdry my hair.
2. My make-up has melted off my face from my walk from the door to the car.
3. My hair is constantly frizzy, no matter how many products I put in it.
4. Upon the return to my car after grocery shopping, I find a sauna instead of my car.
5. Theatre Baby's hair is drentched in sweat just from sitting in the car seat.
6. I am longing for turtlenecks (or at least the cold weather that would allow me to wear them).
7. The tourist have gotten wise and have stopped coming.
8. My air conditioning doesn't know what a "break" is.
9. The playgrounds are sparse because the metal slides could bake cookies.
10. I wake up in a puddle of sweat in the middle of the night because I have a sheet on.
